Machen Institute
Machen Bible Institute is an educational ministry of PBPC. 0fficially founded in the fall of 2012, MBI seeks to offer classes that equip believers to address our culture with the Word of God and that give seekers an opportunity to engage their minds with God’s Word about the issues of the day. Our classes are taught in association with Western Reformed Seminary in Tacoma, Washington.

Currently classes are offered on an ad hoc basis: eventually the plan is offer a comprehensive Bible-based apologetics and evangelism curriculum appropriate for pre-college preparations, church leaders and teachers, and missionaries. Please call the office at 208-267-3327 for more information about current class offerings and registration.
Chaplain Corps
Boundary County Chaplain Corps, founded by our pastor, ministers to all emergency services agencies active in our county. We provide nationally certified, trained chaplains for county jail ministry, critical incident stress management, suicide, death notification, spiritual counseling, post traumatic stress, ride along procedure, grief counseling, and many other topics. We are dedicated to bringing trained persons to those serving in crisis fields such as law enforcement, firefighting, emergency medical, search and rescue, emergency management and correctional occupations. We also provide care for the troubled and those who have endured loss, or who have been victimized by the events and tragedy that have left them abandoned, helpless and without hope.
BCCC has also created a unique ministry tool by retrofitting a 4×4 ambulance into a mobile relief station to aid first responders at lengthy emergency scenes who are need of food, shelter, rest, and counsel during traumatic and exhausting extended incidents. We call our ambulance “Angel 1.”

PBPC Lending Library

We are pleased to have well over 2000 volumes of substantial works in a broad range of subject areas to assist believers in their studies and preparations for living and ministry. These books are not only available for the congregation, but all believers in Boundary County are welcome to come and browse through the thoroughly catalogued library and check out books as they will. The library is characterized by scholarly and practical titles, with a great emphasis upon the classics in theology, church history, as well as a fine selection of commentaries and language helps.
Harbor House
The “Harbor House,” is a multi-purpose space which serves as a hospitality center, church family life area, classroom, lounge for Machen Institute students, community room for smaller gatherings, or any activity where a warm and personal atmosphere is desired. It is ADA compliant for those with physical limitations, and with its large wrap-around deck is a perfect space for both indoor and al fresco events for groups of forty or fewer. Church families can reserve the space for use by checking with the deacons for availability. The only requirement is that the space be cleaned thoroughly when the activity is completed. Community groups will be charged a modest usage fee to cover utilities and wear and tear.
The name “Harbor House” was chosen to reflect the desire that those who come in empty – spiritually, emotionally, intellectually – will depart with their cargo hold full, refitted, refreshed, and refocused upon the great task at hand in serving our Savior. From the other side of the analogy, it is a place where the valuable goods of truth, encouragement, and preparation can be found. It is both a “desired haven” (Psalm 107:30) and place from which to send out the clarion call of the gospel through prepared and fervent servants of Christ. It is also a place we as a church can use to demonstrate the love of Christ to the larger household of faith through hospitality and shelter, as well as the community at large around us.
