A statement on marriage & sexuality
God immutably creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, complementary sexes together reflect the image of God. Rejecting one’s biological sex repudiates the Creator’s sovereignty. (Gen 1:26-27.) “Marriage” is the monogamous covenantal union of one man and one woman for life (Gen 2:18-25), reflecting Christ’s relationship with His Church (Ephesians 5:21-33).
