The purpose of this church is to maintain a united witness, “For the Word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ” (Revelation 1:9b), which includes: the edification of Christians through the preaching and teaching of the Bible; the practice of Christ-centered worship; the promotion and defense of the family as divinely instituted (Genesis 2:18-24); “earnestly contending for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints,” upholding God’s standard of righteousness in the Church in opposition to all forms of wickedness, including unbelief and compromise with the apostasy of this age; cooperation with Christian activities functioning in true harmony with God’s Holy Word, the Bible, until the Lord Jesus Christ comes for His Church; the evangelization of the lost through the proclamation of the Gospel; and representing God’s kingdom on earth by calling society and government to repentance and righteousness.
We strive to passionately proclaim from our pulpit, in our activities, and in our homes, the application of God’s Word to all of life. We unite to bring the rich biblical nature of the Reformed Faith to our ministries:
- edifying the saints by the faithful preaching of the Word,
- bringing confidence to our evangelism and missions,
- establishing faith in our children, and
- bowing humbly before the Throne of Grace in satisfying submission to the Triune God.
We passionately desire to behold God, proclaim Christ to the entire world, and pursue godliness.
